Amy grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Jefferson Senior High School in 2000. During her senior year of high school, through the post-secondary enrollment option, she attended Alexandria Technical College and graduated in 2001 with an AAS degree in Legal Administration. While completing her degree, Amy interned as the receptionist for Swenson Lervick and officially joined the firm full-time in May, 2001. Amy is the primary legal assistant to Tom Jacobson working in employment law, municipal law, personal injury, construction disputes and creditor’s remedies. She also assists Mike Cass in the areas of estate planning and probate.
Amy and her husband, Josh, reside in Alexandria along with their three daughters and four dogs. Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending her daughters’ dance, softball, and music events, gardening, and reading. Amy takes pride in the Alexandria community and has served on the Board of Directors for the Alexandria Marching Band as well as the Alexandria Figure Skating Club.
