The Minnesota Supreme Court has appointed Swenson Lervick attorney Tom Jacobson to serve on the Minnesota Board of Legal Certification. The board’s primary responsibility is to regulate the process through which attorneys are permitted to represent themselves as specialists in Minnesota.
The board accredits agencies to certify attorneys as specialists. Currently, six agencies have been accredited to certify attorneys as specialists in a dozen areas of the law, ranging from business bankruptcy and civil trial law to labor and employment law.
Jacobson is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Labor and Employment Law Specialist and is a shareholder with the Swenson Lervick Law Firm.
