Mike strives to assist clients in establishing comprehensive estate and business plans. He practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate and small business formation. Often, legal issues in these areas overlap. In such cases, Mike’s expertise allows him to shepherd clients through the complicated process of putting their affairs in order for their families and business relations. Mike prides himself on the ability to explain matters in real-world language so that each client is comfortable with each step of the process - whether that be establishing a living trust, purchasing real estate, or administering a family business.
Originally from South Dakota, Mike graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2007 where he was active as a senior editor for the law review and a student attorney in the law clinic. Prior to law school, Mike attended college at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN graduating with a BA in computer science and a minor in Asian Studies in 2002.
Mike takes pride in the Alexandria area. He is active in the community, participating in a number of clubs and currently sits on the board of governors of the Runestone Museum.
